My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes! This template plate works for both retrofit installations (after drywall is up) and new builds (before drywalling). It acts as a template for both framed and flush installs, helping you place device mounts consistently and accurately every time.

Is it necessary to buy a Device Mount Smash Plate if I bought a Device Mount?
Nope! The Smash Plate is optional. It’s primarily used before the drywalling stage, or as a template for device mounts to ensure accurate cutouts when installing multiple units at once. How many Device Mount Smash Plates do I need to buy?
If you're using the Smash Plate as a cutout template for device mounts to be installed in an existing surface, you only need one, as it is reusable. If installing behind drywall or ceiling surfaces, you'll need one Smash Plate for each Device Mount being installed.
