What material can this be used with?
Almost any. Like all Fittes floor vents, this product is compatible with tile, hardwood, carpet, vinyl, laminate, cork, and more. For Luxe+ models, the surface material must be between ⅛” and ⅞” thick.

My floor is already installed. Can I use this product?
No, this recessed flush floor vent needs to be mounted at the subfloor level, before installing the surface material. If your floor is already installed, use a retrofit framed model like the Framed Floor Vent [Lite], Framed Floor Vent [Luxe], or Framed Floor Vent [Luxe+].

Will this product work with my HVAC system?
This Luxe+ floor vent is airflow tested and designed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours. 

Framed or Flush? What's the difference between the Flush Floor Vent [Luxe+] and the Framed Floor Vent [Luxe+]?
This is the Flush model, a minimalist floor vent that sits level with the floor. It must be mounted at the subfloor level to create a seamless, contoured look that blends into the floor. In comparison, the Framed model has a thin rim that sits on top of the floor surface, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation. 

What's the difference between Lite, Lite+, Luxe and Luxe+?
We offer four vent collections, each thoughtfully engineered to give you the flexibility to choose what fits best in your space. Here’s how they compare:
+ Lite and Lite+ are made from durable ABS plastic—Lite features a single air channel for everyday airflow, while Lite+ adds a second channel for +50% more airflow.

Can I use this vent on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This is a minimalist, recessed floor vent for hardwood and tile. It also works on walls that are tiled or wood panelled, but is not compatible with drywall and would not work on ceilings. For drywall and ceiling application, use the Flush Wall Vent [Lite] or Flush Wall Vent [Luxe].

Is this product easy to install?
This product requires professional installation in the subfloor building phase.

Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a wide range of sizes available, and you can customize Fittes vents with a leftover piece of surface material — simply cut and glue the material onto the inner tray for an ultra-minimal flush vent that blends right into the floor.
